The bank wants to ensure that at least 40% (up from 27%) of their 8,000 top jobs will be occupied by women by 2020. They want to better represent the diversity of their customer base as they believe that at the present rate of change, it will take too long unless they identify now, the obstacles women face and work to eradicate them.
